User Guide

Getting Started

  • Create your account, agree to how Mirror™ handles your information, and you will see one welcome screen. Choose "Try it with a sample email" to open email analysis with a sample email already filled in.
  • After your first result, your Dashboard offers the Leadership Baseline Assessment (it sets your starting point so Mirror™ can measure growth over time) and three optional questions about your work.
  • You can bring back the baseline or the welcome screen any time from Settings → Help & Support → Setup Guides.

Finding Your Way Around

  • The menu is grouped by what you have come to do: Check (analyze an email or meeting, Voice reflection, On-Camera Presence, My Analyses), Prepare (Meeting Prep, Meeting Brief, Situation Coach, Practice a conversation, Rewrite Engine) and Grow (My Progress, Patterns, Mirror Letters and more).
  • A "Starter" or "Pro" tag on a menu item means your current plan does not include it yet.
  • Press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows) to search for any page or action.

Analyzing a Meeting or Email

  • Go to Check and choose Email analysis or Meeting analysis.
  • Paste your email, or paste or upload a meeting transcript. Mirror™ analyzes how you communicated, not the other participants.
  • For a meeting, answer two questions: "What kind of meeting?" and "What were you trying to do?"
  • Each analysis is scored across six leadership dimensions with specific, coaching-grade insights.

Reading Your Mirror™ Insights

  • Every analysis includes dimension scores, a key insight, coaching actions, and an experiment to try before your next interaction.
  • On an email result, "Rewrite this email" gives you a clearer version in your own voice, or one written for a different reader (Starter and above).
  • My Analyses holds every analysis you have run. Click one to open it in a side panel, and filter by emails or meetings.
  • Visit Patterns and What Mirror’s Noticed to see recurring themes across all of your analyses.

Practicing a Conversation

  • Practice a conversation lets you try a hard conversation before it happens, with Mirror™ playing the other person, then gives you a debrief.
  • "Rehearse it out loud" sends the situation to The Rehearsal Studio, a separate voice practice app. Mirror™ tells you exactly what is sent before you confirm. Practicing there needs a Rehearsal Studio plan.

Progress Reports

  • My Progress tracks your goals and your dimension scores over time against your baseline.
  • Share My Progress on the Dashboard builds a progress report. Every report starts private.
  • Choose "Share this report" to copy a link and turn sharing on for 30 days. "Stop sharing" turns the link off. PDF downloads come with the Professional plan.

Settings & Privacy

  • Settings has seven tabs: Account, Profile, Security & Privacy, Connected apps, Notifications, Plan & billing, and Help & Support.
  • Your analyses are private to you. Mirror staff can open them only to help you, for example when you ask for support, and each time they do through Mirror, Mirror records who opened them, what was opened and when. A progress report is seen by others only if you share it.
  • Read How Mirror Uses AI in Settings → Security & Privacy to see how your data is used, and use the sun/moon toggle in the header to switch between light and dark mode.

Subscriptions

  • View your current plan, this month’s usage, and upgrade options in Settings → Plan & billing or on the Pricing page.
  • Usage remaining is shown in the header next to the search button.
  • To upgrade, choose a plan on the Pricing page and pay on Stripe’s secure checkout page. Annual plans start with a 14-day free trial. For Enterprise plans, choose Contact Sales on the Pricing page.
